Pick the Vote Party - October 24!

pick_the_vote_square.pngPick the Vote 2014 is the first annual get out the vote event hosted by The Davidson County Democratic Party. Merging politics, pop culture, and music, Pick the Vote will be an opportunity to meet candidates, learn about important ballot initiatives, and most importantly, to have fun!

And, it's FREE!

The theme of this year’s event is the 90s - the decade that brought us Bill Clinton and Phil Bredesen, the Predators and the Titans, along with grunge music, hip-hop, and boy bands. We are thrilled to have Nashville’s favorite 90s cover band, My So-Called Band as our headliner! So, don your flannel, comb your hair into a caesar cut, and rip up your jeans- show off your 90s style and get ready to Pick the Vote!

Thank You

24145.jpg

I would like to thank you for your support throughout the 2014 primary campaign. So many of you helped in countless ways – from campaign contributions to stuffing envelopes; from working the polls to spreading the word about our campaign on social media, and I am grateful for all of the hard work that has been done.

It has been my privilege to work for you for the past twelve years, and I am honored that the people of Nashville have overwhelmingly chosen for us to continue our mission of increasing public safety and reducing recidivism in a fiscally responsible manner. The votes in this election are as much for the men and women of the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office as they are for me, and I am truly proud of the work that they do each and every day.
